Hi, I'm Andaç Üzel.
For over ten years I've worked on both sides of content: telling stories and producing the work itself, and sitting with technical teams to make sure that work gets found. I spent the first four years of my career as a content editor and content manager at some of Turkey's largest digital media platforms. Then content marketing pulled me in, and I followed it. Six years later, that path has taken me through B2B SaaS, pharma, and manufacturing.
Citehound is a personal project, and it has excited me from the day I started on it. As AI use grew over the last few years, I realized I needed to follow this field closely. So I worked through every source I could reach, partly to bring AI into my own digital marketing practice, partly to think about what could be built with it. Citehound came out of that. I wanted to build a platform that helps marketing teams, at companies and agencies alike, open their site's door to AI the right way. Building it, I drew on what I already knew and learned something new almost every day. The platform turned into a place where I'm still learning.
The name is an image: a sighthound reads the field before it moves. It is not a promise. Citehound measures whether AI systems can reach and read a site, not whether any assistant names it.
Sharing most of what it does for free matters to me. In a competitive environment that shifts month to month, accessible improvement practices are the ones that make a real difference. Everyone is thinking about this now, from the teams inside enormous organizations to a single local business. In the zero-click era, getting the most out of the moment is a shared goal, and there is no reason to gatekeep methods that are already proven. That is why the free version of Citehound is built to cover the large majority of what you need.
So what is Pro for? Pro is there for broader, more detailed results: site-specific guidance at the highest quality I can produce, written as actions you can take without a translator.
