getcitehound.comCrawled October 4, 2026Sample report

Sample report

This is a real crawl of our own site, getcitehound.com, run on October 4, 2026. 28 pages, read 1.5 seconds apart, with robots.txt respected. We crawled it earlier on October 3, 2026, fixed what that crawl found, and crawled again. Both results are below. Nothing in either has been edited or improved. The crawl engine ran from our own machine against the live pages.

Before and after

We crawled our own site twice: on October 3, 2026 and on October 4, 2026. Between the two we added Organization and WebSite JSON-LD to every page that lacked it, put a Contact link in every footer and turned an existing line into an H2 on six pages. We changed pages, not the scanner and not the scoring. Both crawls are published as they came out.

  • 87Homepage score
    what a single-page scan reports
  • -4Gap
    site-wide minus homepage, in points
  • 20Pages with a failure

Where to start

  1. Content schema (Article, FAQ…)

Fixing this check adds 3 points to the site-wide score.

    17 of 28 pages

+3 pointstypically markup for each page type

  2. Subheading structure (H2)

Fixing this check adds 0.7 points to the site-wide score.

    4 of 28 pages

+0.7 pointstypically copy on each page

  3. Organization / WebSite schema

Fixing this check adds 0.6 points to the site-wide score.

    2 of 28 pages

    +0.6 pointstypically one template change

What already works

Author / about signals and canonical tag are working.

Caveats

  • This measures readiness, meaning whether pages can be reached and read, and does not show whether any AI assistant names the site.
  • A crawler marked limited has an ordinary Disallow rule that applies, such as an admin path.
  • The crawl read 28 pages.
  • There are 10 limited crawlers.

Which pages fail which checks

One row per page, grouped by section and by the exact set of checks failing. A filled square is a failing check, a hollow one is a pass. A column filled all the way down is likely a shared template: that is an inference from how many pages fail, not something we observed.

  • FailsAI crawler access Review robots.txt rules for blocked AI crawlers

10 AI crawlers have at least one Disallow rule that applies. That is often an ordinary path such as an admin area, not a block on the site. The scan gives it half credit.

Each distinct snippet appears once, with the pages it applies to. The JSON-LD uses placeholders where a fact is unknown. Fill them in; do not publish a placeholder.

Sample from a different brand This is the published sample for a CRM brand, not a result for this site. It shows what a run looks like.

Real answers from gemini-3.5-flash-lite on October 2, 2026, five tries per question, without web search. Each mark is one try: a filled mark means the brand was named, a hollow one means it was not.

  • 7Never named

  • 5Named only sometimes
questions where it appeared in some tries
  • 6Named every time
questions where it was named in every try

Across all 90 answers the brand was named in 44. 18 questions in all.

Who is named instead is not part of the published sample: it is anonymised and names no competitor. A run for your brand lists them. Source domains appear only for runs made with web search, and this one was made without it. One model on one date. It is not a ranking, it says nothing about other assistants, and a name inside a dismissive aside counts as named, not as an endorsement.
