Citehound is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We work to keep the scanner accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it.

Scores are guidance, not guarantees

Your score reflects AI readiness signals we can observe: crawler access, structured data, and on-page trust markers. It does not measure or guarantee confirmed presence in any AI assistant's answers. A perfect score is not a promise of citation.

Scan domains you're authorized to check

Only scan domains you own or are authorized to check. The scanner reads public files, but authorization to check a site is still yours to have.

Fair use

The public interface is for individual, manual scans. Automated or bulk scanning through the interface isn't permitted.

The snippets are yours

Copy-paste snippets the scanner generates for you — JSON-LD, robots.txt rules — belong to you. Use them freely, in any project, with no attribution required.
